The Pivot Steel Chair takes the curved plywood back of the Pivot Cafe Chair and sets it on a slim, black powder-coated steel frame with a round padded seat. Steel legs are thinner than wood at the same strength, which makes rows of these chairs look lighter and gives a little more foot room under small tables.
Construction. Welded steel frame, pretreated and powder-coated; molded plywood back fixed to the steel spine; round seat upholstered in contract vinyl on a plywood base. Glides sized for your floor; nylon for tile and sealed concrete.
Mixing with the Pivot Cafe Chair. Use wood legs in the slower, warmer zones and steel legs in the high-turnover center of the room; the shared back keeps the room consistent.
Where it works. Fast casual, food halls, cafes, and outdoor-adjacent areas under cover.
Options. Seat vinyl color, back veneer tone, frame color.
Floors. We fit glides to suit your floor finish and can ship spares with the order.
