Two-tops are the busiest tables in most fast casual rooms, and they are usually loose tables and chairs: easy to knock out of line, hard to keep tidy, and greedy with aisle space. The Duo Micro Booth packages a two-person booth into the smallest practical unit: two single seats facing each other across a pedestal table, with high side and rear backs that give each pair a little privacy.
Why it adds seats. Along a 236 in (6 m) wall, loose two-tops at 24 in wide with the clearances most designers use typically fit three tables, or six seats. The same wall takes four Duo units, or eight booth seats, because the booth backs replace the chair-pull-out zone. Your actual result depends on the plan; send it and we will mark it up.
Construction. Plywood and hardwood booth frame, high-resilience foam, vertical channel backs, contract vinyl or fabric, and a recessed hardwood base. Table on a single steel column with a heavy base, top in laminate or wood veneer.
Where it works. Window walls, perimeter walls and small cafes where two-person parties dominate.
